This policy describes how Editions HF ("we") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you register for the MediaDays Solutions 2026 event via the mediadays.solutions website.

No data protection officer (DPO) has been appointed — the company employs fewer than 250 people and does not process sensitive data on a large scale. GDPR requests are handled directly by the controller.

Purposes of processing

Your data is collected to:

1. Manage your registration for the MediaDays Solutions 2026 event and organise your participation (Paris Radio Show on December 15, MediaDays Marseille on December 10).
2. Send you transactional communications essential to your registration (confirmation, quotes, invoices, event changes).
3. Send you commercial communications (newsletter, future events, offers) — only if you explicitly consent at registration.

Legal basis

• Contractual performance: necessary for managing your registration (Article 6.1.b GDPR).
• Consent: for commercial prospecting and newsletter (Article 6.1.a GDPR). You may withdraw your consent at any time.
• Legitimate interest: for site security (anti-spam hCaptcha, deliverability check, IP logging) — Article 6.1.f GDPR.

Data collected

When you register:

• Work email, first name, last name, phone (optional).
• Company, country, declared category (exhibitor or partner).
• GDPR and marketing consents.
• At step 2: chosen pack, shows, preferred booths, options, payment method.

Technical data automatically collected:

• IP address, browser user agent, UTM parameters (if present in the landing URL).
• AI classification of your business sector (for internal commercial routing).
• Email deliverability check result.

Retention period

• Prospects: 3 years from the last interaction (last contact with sales, last login, etc.).
• Customers (registrations converted to actual event attendance): 5 years after the end of the service, in compliance with French accounting and tax obligations.
• Technical logs (IP, user agent): 12 months maximum.
• Rejected emails (incomplete registration): 6 months to allow possible follow-up.

No data is sold to third parties for commercial purposes.

Cookies

The site uses only strictly necessary cookies:

• Supabase session cookie for the admin area (duration: session).
• Language preference cookie NEXT_LOCALE (duration: 1 year).
• Technical cookies linked to registration verification and security (duration: 24 h max).

No advertising tracking or third-party analytics cookies are placed.

Your rights

In accordance with Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR, you have the following rights:

• Right of access: obtain confirmation that data concerning you is being processed and obtain a copy.
• Right of rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten"): request deletion of your data under the conditions provided by the GDPR.
• Right to portability: receive your data in a structured, readable format.
• Right to object: oppose processing for prospecting purposes.
• Right to withdraw consent at any time (without retroactivity).
• Right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL (French data protection authority — cnil.fr).

Policy changes

This policy may be updated. The last update date is shown at the top of the page. In case of substantial change, a notification will be sent to people in our prospect database.
